MoonbatWingnut is a 3D animated editorial cartoon offering a humorous take on discussions taking place in the political blogosphere. Moonbat, Wingnut or a clone of something in between, everyone deserves a laugh break from politics and the culture wars. So this site is sort of a web log, but not really a video log - or a vlog. But a cartoon log. That’s it - it’s a clog!
The format of the cartoon is a fictionalized ‘re-imagining’ of talk happening in the political blogosphere. The re-imagining includes thoughts drawn from a variety of the participants in the online discussion, so the gender/ethnicity of the cartoon characters were designed to roughly approximate the diversity of everyone participating, not just the gender or ethnicity of any particular writer.
MoonbatWingnut is produced every other day in Austin, Texas using LightWave, Mirage, and VT4 on a BOXX workstation, with a little Particle Illusions and some occasional Fireworks.
